This bamboo won't stay in the yard And this yard won't stay out of the ravine And this ravine is hungry enough To put the neighborhood in the sea And this sea doesn't question what it takes And these fish take whatever they can get And had the captain known then he could Probably have prevented it The news casts love to show the little girl And the girl always wanted to be on TV And the microphones are vacuum hoses- Waiting for tears from the family And some ears know how not to listen Like tinted glass they can pick and choose Between that which will only sting and That which is soft enough to let through And staying small is always easy Is easiness not what we want? I see we lay ourselves all down For someone to put the parking lots on And maybe the big guys really are evil but That same evil lines you and me And a hot enough flame in any mans hand will Still burn down the city How we love to look for clues and Pick out who is mostly to blame And how we rally up and hang our weights and debts upon their names And feeling like we've always been cheated And cursing the sun when the ice cube melts And being the poor little lady on the train tracks is So much easier than anything else It's so much easier than anything else So much easier than anything else So much easier than anything- Else.

You say the Berlin Wall came down by human hands And time will turn the pyramids to sand If you think I'm like that then stay awhile You think you can move me, then try How much did you invest in me? And what did you expect from me? How patiently will you Give everything? And what would you trade To fit- to fit with me? Will you cut your edges And try be a better shape? Will you take yourself apart To fit? Nothing fits like nothing Two strangers move like newly weds Two months ago he'd dream of this And two ways to make her shameless Too much of them, away from this And you, and everyone And you, and everyone One climbs up to his golden chair One jails away what makes him scared And one secretly always compares Himself to the soil, sea, and air And you, and everyone And you, and everyone I'll push 'till everybody pulls away I'll sing of solitude and open space And maybe open up my circuitry And pull free from these tangling memories And you'd plead that all this comes unhealthily But tell me how each other's company Can be Enough for you And keep Your head in tune No one fits like no one

Away 04:31
Road Road to nowhere Wants to forget what roads are for Forget and join the forest floor Or wash away All these old kings Evergreen, not everlasting Crown themselves with such a ceiling Tumble down to join the sleeping So North, North into the heart of it I'll be away North, North into the rain I'll be away I'll be away Where the thoughts that clung to me are lost and words don't wait beneath the rocks And nothing finds me in this fog At all The bearing; Always know the bearing Straight lines don't all seem that way But the compass won't lead you astray If you listen to it Make a hole Bury your weights Forgetting is what this place is for Well I've never wanted to forget before So North, North into the heart of it I'll be away North, North into the rain I'll be away I'll be away With a little fire to throw back the dark It's setting free a host of sparks They long to be amongst the stars And tonight is cold and full of questions I'm awake in spite of my intentions Thinking home is just another direction But one day I'll take that one

Super Crumbs 06:47
Steel, glass, and cement It looms up all around And it breathes, it breathes And this could all be yours If you can make it yours What a crown What a feeling I don't ever want to have it all if it's what I'm gonna live for I don't want to see what's on my table and want to see more I don't even want to be a man if I have to be superman Gotta rise up always gotta win always gotta have a plan I don't think I want your respect if I have to walk like that Nose up high synched up tie everything stat I don't want to do good if I'm doing good to feel complete I don't want to tally what I give and put it on the tax sheet Oh, so this Is what your world is made of Keep it all And keep me out of it Tell me how much time I have and I'll tell you what I'll do with it I'll put every second there is into something significant Tell me why you shift your face like I haven't meant a thing I said Really, no really I will I just haven't started yet Oh, so this Is what my words are worth Makes me know I'm not above you Maybe losing doesn't sound so bad Losing this precious unbend-able mind Maybe losing doesn't sound so bad Always for sale to be everyone's favorite Maybe losing doesn't sound so bad Take it all Oh, when this Is what my world is made of Take it all And get me out of it Take it all And get me out of it

about

This is my first venture into recording. Surprise surprise, another musician with no money for a proper recording studio or producer. So, I brought my laptop and snowball microphone into the freezer room behind my parent's garage, hung blankets on the walls, Built a vocal "booth" with toilet paper rolls, and made my noise. These are definitely demos, not professional recordings, but they're what I have for now, and I'm proud of them for what they are.

If you enjoy them, please by all means download them. If you hear potential and want to help me record some higher grade stuff, I'd be totally stoked if you changed the price from "free" to anything above free. Completely up to you though, none of that silly guilt trip stuff.
